Submitted internal design documents again

It was fine.  Still hot, but aggressive summer sunshine has gotten milder than it had been before.

Have just submitted internal design documents again in which our partner had found some errors in the reviewing process.

In addition to fixing those errors, I had been fixing other errors found while we were producing actual codes and conducting tests.   There might be other fixes that have to be made, but due to schedule constraint, I felt I had no choice but to submit them.  Because at the weekly progress meeting, I always said recently that we could submit them soon, I felt some pressure on me these days for having not submitted them.

KEEP:

-Continue to test and raise software quality

PROBLEM:

-Found some problems in outer design documents that need to be fixed.

-There might be gap between software function and what our customer wants it to be

TRY:

-Dare not take an action and see how it works.

-Outer documents could be fixed at the very final moment.

August, still have a long way to go..

It was fine.

In the afternoon, went to office and did some administrative work.  On Friday, conducted a product demo to Customer.  They complained that its tag search lacks function because it only supports exact match search, not partial match, which Customer said is crucial for their business.

Still remains 8 months to go (to the day of cut-over)……

KEEP:

– Work distribution to appropriate persons.

PROBLEM:

– Could not have a telephone meeting with Korea for several weeks, due to absence of persons in charge.

– Wondering whether or not we should have a chance to conduct a demonstration of the other product to the customer and ask them these functions (especially newly added ones) are like just they had imagined.

TRY:

– Dare not take an action and see how it works.  (It seems taking an action may make things worse)
